KEY CONSIDERATIONS

Challenge One

Integrating a modern addition directly connected to the existing cancer center building structure.

Solution One

A lot of focus and coordination was undertaken in designing and selecting the appropriate envelope assemblies such that the performance of the new complex met design objectives and the existing assemblies were upgraded to support improved comfort. These interfaces were implemented with precision on site with consistent coordination between the architect and general contractor.
