GAINING INSIGHT INTO THE USER EXPERIENCE WITH PEDESTRIAN MODELLING
Pedestrian modeling allows us to better understand and improve the human user experience while ensuring safe and intuitive movement for day-to-day work and life scenarios, emergency scenarios, and unique situations, such as temporary staging or physical distancing in response to a transmittable virus.
We’ve written recently about how pedestrian modeling can help forecast public transit capacity following COVID-19 and help organizations ensure safe distancing and interaction at the office. It is also useful in Building Improvements like renovations and revenue optimization, as well as Construction Engineering for managing temporary people flows and access interruptions.
By extracting the most efficient and safe movement strategies from existing geometry, we can test proposed renovations and operational strategies.
