Ian is based in Toronto, Canada, and has more than 20 years of experience in the building and construction industry. He has had significant involvement in a variety of commercial, residential, institutional, and educational buildings in the Canadian and Middle Eastern markets using BIM technologies, focusing especially on geometrically complex structures.

At Entuitive, Ian leads the global technologist group and sits on the Technical Board, with a focus on the firm's technical communications. He also co-leads the Multi-Cultural & Indigenous pillar, which is part of the overall Inclusion, Diversity, and Belonging mandate, and is an active member of the business development team. After work, Ian volunteers as a Director of the ACE Mentor Program of Canada, leading the expansion of the well established US-based program into Canada.

Ian believes that excellent team communication is critical to the success of a project. His depth of BIM experience and natural leadership ability allows him to regularly drive new ideas and he is continually looked to as a unique problem solver.
