With a focus on bridges and transit systems, I strive to deliver solutions that balance technical excellence with practical application, ensuring each project not only meets, but exceeds, industry standards.
David Hubbell is an integral member of the Entuitive leadership team through his role as Associate.
David is an Associate at Entuitive, bringing over 11 years of industry experience to the team. His expertise spans a wide range of structural engineering projects, allowing him to contribute valuable insights and technical leadership.
Notable projects David has contributed to include rail-structure interaction analysis for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension guideway over the Humber Valley in Toronto, as well as the conceptual and detailed design for the Canada Drive – America Ave Bridge in Vaughan, Ontario, which is the first post-tensioned NU-girder bridge in the province. He has also worked on the detailed design for the Highway 7/8 Pedestrian and Cycling Bridge in Kitchener, Ontario, and the conceptual and detailed design for the Emma to Earl Pedestrian Bridge in Guelph, Ontario. Additionally, David has provided construction engineering for the Gardiner Expressway Jarvis to Cherry rehabilitation, erection engineering for the new Wyecroft Rd bridges in Oakville, and an independent design review for the Highway 427 over Highway 407 steel box girder structure.
David’s doctoral thesis explored the application of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete and Glass-Fibre-Reinforced Polymer in the design of lightweight precast girders for transit rail guideways.
